Can I play Indian classical music on piano?

Yes — by adapting piano technique to incorporate Indian classical scales (ragas), rhythms (talas) and ornamentations such as gamakas and meend. Transcribing or arranging Indian classical compositions for piano also helps.

What is the difference between the piano and the keyboard?

Pianos have weighted keys and hammers striking strings for acoustic sound; keyboards use non/semi-weighted keys and electronic synthesis. Pianos are larger and need tuning; keyboards are portable, versatile and lower-maintenance.

Do you provide study material with the course?

Yes — we provide reading material and other necessary media throughout the course.
