  • Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Pune was founded by Pt. Vinayakbua Patwardhan in the year 1932. To boost the continuous and expanding musical activities and ventures of Mahavidyalaya, a trust named as Bharatiya Sangeet Prasarak Mandal was established in the year 1942. A committee of nine eminent personalities was formed to handle the activities of the trust. Since the inception of BSPM, Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Pune is known as Bharatiya Sangeet Prasarak Mandal's Gandharva Mahavidyalaya.
  • During the foundation years of the BSPM, it received the valuable contribution and guidance of Shri Datto Vaman Potdar, Shri Lakshman Balawant Bhopatkar, Shri Damodar Vishwanath Gokhale, Shri Vidyadhar Hari Damle, Shri Ganesh Hari Ranade, and Shri Sadashiv Vyankatesh Mone. Experienced and well-known personalities like Shri Vinayaka Narayan Patwardhan, Shri Dattatraya Vishnu Paluskar, and Shri Purushottam Rajaram Pandit who played very important roles in the musical heritage of India were also instrumental in the founding of the organization.
  • Bharatiya Sangeet Prasarak Mandal aims and works for the cause of increasing awareness and spread of Indian Classical music. It also conducts regular classes and musical concerts apart from publishing books dedicated to Indian Classical music. With a set syllabus, BSPM conducts various examinations starting from Prarambhik to Sangeet Praveen. How does payment work?

We require monthly advance payments for the number of classes scheduled in a calendar month. We use Paypal, or other payment apps for collection of fees. You would be asked to select your choice of payment method during the initial setup of the class.

What if I miss a class?

For batch classes, we would be able to share a timed recording upon parent's request. For one-on-one sessions, the class would be rescheduled. We request the parents to inform prior in advance in such cases.

Do I need to sign any contract?

All our engagements are based on the terms and conditions and other requirements mentioned in the website. We provide complete flexibility to our students to exit the course anytime if they do not find that the classes are beneficial to them.

How do I take an update on my child's progress?

For progress tracking we will be providing assessments and homework lessons which will give parents a clear picture of a child's progress. We encourage all Parents to discuss and share their views/feedback on a regular basis to the teacher or our Institute representative for updates and for us to keep improving and meeting your expectations.

If my kid does not enjoy the classes, will WinQuest refund the fees?

We provide complete flexibility to our students to exit the course anytime if they do not find the classes beneficial to them. We will refund fees for those future classes which are not taken by the Student.
