Data Processing Addendum

When you use Nuvio, most personal data flowing through it belongs to your contacts, and you are the controller of it — we process it only on your instructions. This addendum sets those processor terms and forms part of the agreement between you and Nuvio Learning Private Limited.
Roles
For customer data — your leads, students, employees, parents and their records — you are the controller and Nuvio Learning Private Limited is the processor. For our own account and billing data we are the controller; that is covered by the Privacy Policy, not this addendum.
Scope and instructions
We process customer data only to provide and support the service, and only on your documented instructions (including your configuration and use of the product). We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train models or for our own purposes.
Security
We maintain technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk — encryption in transit (TLS), per-tenant isolation, least-privilege access, encrypted secrets and payment tokens (never raw card or bank numbers), audit logging, and daily encrypted backups held off-site. Sub-processors
We use a small set of vetted sub-processors to run the service — cloud hosting, and the messaging and payment providers you enable (for example WhatsApp/Meta, Twilio, SendGrid and Razorpay). Each is bound to protect the data, and we remain responsible for their performance. We will give notice of material changes so you can object.
Data-subject requests & breach
- We help you respond to access, correction and deletion requests from your contacts, using the product’s own tools.
- We notify you without undue delay after becoming aware of a personal-data breach affecting your data, with the information you need to meet your own obligations.
Location, retention & deletion
Customer data is hosted in India. Where any transfer outside your region occurs through a sub-processor, it is done under an approved safeguard. On termination we delete or return customer data within a defined window, except where law requires retention.
